Potty Time!
I just started introducing Camilla to the potty and so far she is doing good! I am a firm believer that when she is ready she will do it and it has been fun to see her start to understand "pee, pee"! She has now gone twice in her princess potty that I got at a garage sale for $5 and as a reward she gets her all time favorite treat, M&M's!

We're back in 5,4,3,2,1...........................
Wow, it has been a long time! What a crazy summer we have had and lets just say that I am glad it is over! Summer of 2009 is not one that we will soon forget. Let me quickly fill everyone in so we can all get back to enjoying blogging!
April, I was called to be the Young Womens Girls Camp Director. I was so excited and called one of the best Ladies to help me! We had so much fun planning and getting everything ready through the month of May.
In June we found out we were to be expecting Baby #2 and we were so excited except it made planning for Girls Camp a lot harder because I was so sick and trying to keep it a secret! Stress and pregnancy is NOT a good thing!
July was full of surprises! Girls Camp came and we had such a ball. I loved it! I got so sick with a head cold in the middle of it and couldn't take anything, but I survived and can't wait to do it again if they call me back! The day after Camp, I threw a Baby Shower for my amazing friend Kari and it turned out awesome! The following week I had my first appt. Sadly enough this is the reason I haven't wanted to blog. We found out that I had what they call an "Empty Egg" which means that the cells of the baby never divided and there was no baby! They requested a series of blood tests to be sure and a week later had another ultrasound to confirm. July 23, I had to have a DNC. This is one of the hardest things I have ever gone through and I am so lucky to have the most amazing husband ever to be right there by my side! I also have the most amazing family and friends that helped me through the whole thing! Two days later we landed in the ER for stitches because Brian thinks his legs are made of steel and decided to put a chainsaw through one of them! 5 hours and 12 stitches later we were out! Let's just say that in 15 days we visited the hospital 13 times. They knew us very well!
August came with a lot of ups and downs justing trying to deal with life. I started babysitting to help earn some money. Camilla loves having a friend to play with everyday and I got a 9 week baby to help fill the void!
September came with a lot of Canning with my mom. We canned Peaches, Pears, Salsa, Speghetti sauce, and Pizza sauce! Yummy!! We do this every year and I love it. I love seeing food on the selves and the satisfaction that I did it! Brian's brother also moved into our basement this month and Camilla is enjoying having her Uncle Darren around! We were so glad to see the snow fly this morning and to know that Summer of 2009 is offficially behind us and we are ready to move on...................
Here's a photo just to remind you of how cute Camilla is! She is eating her homemade fruitloop necklace!

May update!
May has come and gone so fast. We have been extremely busy trying to keep ourselves extremely busy!! So for a fast update on what has happened in busy life: May brought warm, sunny weather our way which turned into a lot of yard work. Our yard doesn't look so big until you try to mow it twice a week and then it is huge!! I have been busy prepping and planting my garden, which is a lot bigger than it looks as well! It is officially all planted so now comes the enjoyment of watching everything grow!! I walked out this morning to uncover my squash, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage and was so excited to see that one of my pumpkins spouted, two of my corn popped up and all of my peas are an inch high!! Yay it is all growing!! We also transplanted 65 raspberry starts and so far all are coming to life, so next year we will have raspberries coming out of our ears!!! We love being outside and love having the sunshine. I have picked up a few babysitting jobs to help pay some of our bills and have learned the hard way that hawks and babysitting kids just don't get a long very well!! For those of you that know this story can laugh now but it was not fun trying to explain to a mom that hawks are just as protective of their young as we are!!! A lesson that I won't soon to forget!! For those of you who don't know this story, when I get over my shame of what happened, I might tell it to you!
Camilla is getting as big as ever and also enjoys being outside every chance she can. I was asked to substitute in Nursery yesterday and so Camilla enjoyed her first time going. I don't think she will have any problems going in 1 1/2 months and neither will I. Maybe I will be able to attend a class and not just roam the halls. She loves drinking her milk out of her cereal bowl, and has to eat olives off her fingers! She is becoming quite the handful!
Memorial day weekend we enjoyed camping all weekend long and Camilla loved playing in the dirt with all the cousins. I have never seen dirt in so many places that I didn't know you could get dirt into, but she did and loved every minute. Because of the crazy weekend, she is now officially broke from her bottle! Yay!! Now it is only sippy cups and straws!! Next comes the pacifier in about 3-4 months!
Next comes a busier June. I am looking forward to June being filled with all girls camp preparation and camp in July. I am stilling training hard for my Marathon in August and am getting more and more excited. Summers are so busy but I wouldn't have it any other way!
Too darn cute!
Helping Uncle Ren and Aunt Vanny shear sheep!
All but one of the Grandkids at Grandpa Van's grave Memorial Day! Camilla smelling Grandpa Van's flowers! So touching.
Eating olives off her fingers!
Licking the beaters clean!
Drinking her milk out of her bowl!
